I’m Sophie and I’ve been in the world of podiatry for over 20 years. I always wanted to do a medical degree, and came across podiatry as a profession when my Grandma use to have regular treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. I instantly saw what a difference it made to her life, keeping her out of pain as much as possible and this inspired me to go on and study the 3 year course. I come from a medical family background, so it has definitely been in me to pursue my passion in helping others and find holistic solutions.

I spent 16 years in the NHS as a senior specialist podiatrist after qualifying, which involved treating really serious foot complications. Believe it or not, a lot can go wrong with feet, so I have definitely seen the other side, but nothing ever phases me. I ran specialist clinics in woundcare and nail surgery. I also loved having students with me on placements and supported them to develop their passion for all things foot and lower limb.
I then went on to work at various private podiatry clinics in the North West, and finally decided to go all in on my own mobile practice. I continue with further training and conferences to remain registered and love treating people in their own homes including children.
I know what its like to have foot issues following a stroke I had in 2020 and I've previously had nail surgery for an ingrown nail. Its amazing how these things can stop life in its tracks. So instead of trying to seek the solution with Dr.Google, get your problem assessed and treated with me first. I promise I will do my best to get you back on your feet and loving life once again.
When I am away from feet, because lets face it, we all need a break once in a while, these are some of my biggest passions:
